About IBA Homes

IBA Homes loans are available to Indigenous Australians and their spouse/partner who want to buy an affordable home in which to live.

Indigenous Australians living in urban or regional centres or towns seeking to buy a home on freehold land can apply for one of IBA's standard home loan products.

Due to the high demand for IBA Homes standard home loan products, intending applicants are required to complete and submit a Request for Placement on the Expression of Interest Register form and Confirmation of Aboriginality or Torres Strait Islander descent form . Once complete, these forms should be lodged at a local IBA Homes office

Those living in communities on Indigenous land may be eligible to apply for a Home Ownership on Indigenous Land loan.

IBA Homes also is participating in the Wadeye Rent-to-Buy project managing the tenancy of houses constructed under a joint arrangement between IBA and the Department of Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs.

Detailed information concerning the objectives and performance of IBA's home ownership programme can be found in IBA's latest annual report
