Private Sector Collaboration
While IBA has sought to collaborate with the private sector through joint ventures and major investments, it is now looking to extend the collaboration to work with private financial and retail companies. Consistent with the Indigenous Economic Development Strategy, IBA is seeking to work with the private sector to identify areas for greater involvement in addressing the needs of Indigenous Australians.
In particular, IBA is keen to work with banks and other commercial financial institutions to provide an improved range of services to Indigenous Australians.
