Indigenous Prosperity Funds
The Indigenous Prosperity Funds (IPF) were launched in 2015 to provide eligible Aboriginal and Torres Strait peoples with the opportunity to invest in a diversified portfolio of investments, including exposure to Australian and international shares, bonds, property and cash. The IPF comprise the Growth, Income and Cash funds.
As at 31 December 2019, the total funds under management (FUM) was $190.6 million, with units in the IPF owned by 35 Indigenous investors and IBA.
Indigenous Real Estate Investment Trust
The Indigenous Real Estate Investment Trust (I-REIT) was launched in 2013 to give Indigenous investors the opportunity to invest in an actively managed commercial property fund alongside IBA and other Indigenous organisations.
As at 31 December 2019, the I-REIT comprised seven commercial property assets with Gross Asset Value of $123 million, owned by 26 Indigenous investors and IBA.
Specialised Property Investments
Specialised investments is a significant asset class for Indigenous investors with a strong desire to invest in assets that have strategic or community significance within their local area. The portfolio diversifies across industry sectors (office, retail and industrial) and geographic locations nationally.
