Indigenous Business Australia (IBA) is a statutory authority incorporated within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Act 2005. IBA provides financial and commercial opportunities that assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples achieve their economic aspirations. IBA has experienced phenomenal growth since 2005 and we are regularly seeking motivated and enthusiastic people to complement our teams throughout Australia.

We employ just over 230 people, located in 20 sites across Australia, and our workforce is diverse in terms of cultural backgrounds, demographics, skills and experience.

We are a commercially focussed organisation and welcome people from all sectors, particularly those with an interest and/or experience in the banking and finance sector, policy development and corporate services. All positions require a strong customer service focus.

All IBA employees attend cultural awareness training to develop and deepen their understanding of Indigenous affairs. Our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) commits IBA to this activity along with other initiatives to support the employment, retention and advancement of Indigenous Australians in our work force.
