NT Indigenous Business Success at National Tourism Awards

IBA Chair Dr Dawn Casey congratulated the outstanding results of the NT based Yellow Water Cruises and Wildman Wilderness Lodge on their success at the 2011 Qantas National Tourism Awards held in Cairns on Friday 2 March 2012.

Yellow Water Cruises are operated by Gagudju Lodge Cooinda in the southern part of Kakadu National Park won silver in the National Tourism award category of Major Tour and/or Transport Operators.

Wildman Wilderness Lodge, situated in the Mary River National Park Wetlands won bronze in the National Tourism award category of New Tourism Development.

This national success follows on from both properties winning their categories at the Northern Territory Tourism Awards in November last year.
